The Rad Dynasty: 2024 Season: Week Ten Recap

Week ten is over - and would you believe it? We just have five weeks left in the regular season of the Rad Dynasty. It has gone by so quick, hasn't it? Now, let's get right to the player of the game for this week. It was established right away on Thursday night against the Ravens: Ja'Marr Chase! His 11 catches for 264 yards and 3 touchdowns translated to 49.9 fantasy points for Dynastic Dan. His performance was a massive factor in Dynastic Dan's record setting victory against Fergalicious. Let's take a look.

Dynastic Dan (9-1) 203.60 vs Fergalicious (8-2) (157.25)

In this highly anticipated battle between the league's two best teams, Dynastic Dan came out on top, in large part due to the aforementioned Ja'Marr Chase. The 203.6 points breaks the record for most points scored in Rad Dynasty history. Dynastic Dan has been on a roll lately, with two 4-game winning streaks already in the season. They'll look to make it five in a row against Show me the TDs in week 11.

Fergalicious falls to 8-2, but only falls to second place in the standings. They have a great chance to rebound in week 11 against slumping TBone, who comes in with a 5 game losing streak.

Alice in Horns (7-3) 152.22 vs TDs or Bust (6-4) 142.66

This was another important game in the playoff race. Both teams came in tied at 6-3 and also tied for the fourth and final playoff spot. Alice's team was able to pull off the crucial win, in large part due to Joe Burrow - who fueled Ja'Marr Chase's big day.

4th place Alice will play another giant game in week 11 against 3rd place ned, while 5th place TDs or Bust looks to regroup against The Killing Fields, who has been terrible this year.

Teflon Don (5-5) 126.78 vs ned's rollers (7-3) 101.98

This was an ugly game, but Teflon Don managed to eke out the low scoring win. It's funny to look at the box score for this game. It's just a bunch of single digit efforts for both teams (with a few exceptions). This was a crucial win for Teflon Don, who stays alive in the playoff hunt. You have to think this is just a blip on the radar for the normally solid ned.

Teflon Don has a chance to move above .500 next week against dreadful BDB, while ned faces Alice in a giant game.

Bluth Company (1-9) 139.38 vs The Killing Fields (3-7) 103.04

It finally happened! Bluth got his first win! It was a long time coming. The Killing Fields roster is a mess right now, and Bluth took full advantage.

At 1-9, Bluth remains in last place and in possession of the first pick in next year's draft, in part due to BDB winning this week. Bluth faces off against surprising My Team next week, in what should be an interesting matchup. On the flip side, The Killing Fields seems to be sputtering away, and they have a super tough matchup against TDs or Bust next week, who is probably looking at the game as an easy win.

My Team (4-6) 118.45 vs Show me the TDs (4-6) 118.43

Another heartbreaking loss for Show me the TDs, who has now lost two straight games by less than a point. They could easily be 6-4 instead of 4-6 at the moment. Tough break! Next week should be a must win game for this team's chances, as they play Dynastic Dan. I'm expecting a close game.

My Team continues to surprise after their 0-5 start. They're now 4-1 in their last 5 games. They look to keep the good vibes going against 1-9 Bluth Company in week 11.

BDB's Jet Setters (2-8) 108.96 vs TBone's Terrific Team (4-6) 78.04

This was easily the worst matchup of the day. The Toilet Bowl between two of the league's fastest sinking teams. They didn't even combine to score as many points as the single highest scoring team in the league this week. Very sad.

TBone has now lost 5 in a row after a 4-1 start. Sucks, because this team could still be in there fighting for a playoff spot with a little more effort. Things don't get any easier against 8-2 Fergalicious next week. BDB plays Teflon Don in a game that means much more to Donnie than it does BDB. We'll see what happens.

---

Here is an updated look at the standings. It's so nice seeing myself alone at the top in first place, although I'm certain it is not going to last. Alice and Ned are tied in the standings at 7-3, and haven't played each other yet. That changes next week, as they meet for their first and only time this season. The winner will hold the season tiebreaker, which could be big if they find themselves tied at the end of the year.
