The Rad Dynasty: 2023 Season, Week Ten Recap

For the second week in a row, Dak Prescott takes home player of the week honors for Turd Ferguson. Dak passed for 404 yards and 4 touchdowns, which resulted in 45.86 fantasy points for his team. Dak becomes the first player to ever win player of the week twice in The Rad Dynasty, so there's a little trivia for your history books!

Since we're talking about Dak, lets jump ahead to that matchup...

Turd Ferguson (5-5) 187.26 vs Thunder Thighs (2-8) 148.77

Dak was the star of the day for Turd Ferguson as they pulled away for a win against pesky Thunder Thighs - whose playoff hopes have been pretty much smashed with this loss.

Aside from Dak, Chris Olave (19.9), Tyler Boyd (15.7) and kicker Dustin Hopkins (14) were the high scorers for Turd Ferguson. He also had a strong effort from his IDP, who combined for 42.5 points

On the losing side, Austin Ekeler (19.5) and Jonathan Taylor (14) had strong games, while the IDP scored a combined 47 something points. Thunder Thighs had a solid week, and could have beaten a number of teams this week. Just got stuck with a bad matchup!

Next week should be awesome, as my brother Turd Ferguson squares off against 6-4 TDs or Bust. with a win, Turd Ferguson can further contribute to the logjam in the standings by tying him up with Perry at 6-5.

Thunder Thighs attempts to topple ned's rollers, in an atypical battle of worst vs first. Thunder Thighs is no pushover.

Speaking of ned's rollers: *sigh*  I guess we better talk about...

ned's rollers (8-2) 187.37 vs Dynastic Dan (5-5) 163.62

There goes the four game win streak. Honestly, I have no idea what went wrong here. I got off to such a great start this week. At one point, I was predicted by Yahoo to win by over 30 points. I didn't pay much attention to the live scores Sunday, but looking at early returns, I thought I had this one in the bag. My phone was blowing up with touchdown and big play notifications. And then, something happened.

It was late afternoon/early evening, and me and my wife were going out to dinner. The late game between the Lions and Chargers was wrapping up. I kept getting all kinds of Justin Herbert TD notifications. I pull out my phone to see how much I was winning by, and my jaw dropped.

I was in the red, with Yahoo showing me a teeny win percentage compared to 90 something percent for ned's rollers. WTF? What happened? My phone was blowing up all day. But apparently ned's team blew up even harder. My dreams of a 6-4 start and a five game win streak were crushed. So what did happen, exactly?

The late games. Ned's team absolutely exploded in the late games. Kenneth Walker: 19.2 points. Javonte Williams: 19 points. Dalton Kincaid: 13.6 points. Bobby Wagner: 17.25 points. Jesse Bates: 18.5 points. But mainly it was CeeDee Lamb who acted as judge, jury, and executioner with his 34 points.

My team performed well, but a goose egg from Jahan Dotson (who scored 21 and 15 points the last two weeks when I didn't start him - go figure) was an absolute killer. I also got nothing from my tight ends, who combined for 5.1 points. Ouch. Otherwise, this performance should have been good enough to get me a win. I would have beaten all but two teams this week - and of course I was matched up against one of them. That's been the story of my fantasy football life this season. I'm in seven different leagues and my teams in each league are near the top in points allowed in every single goddamn one of them. Am I about to go on another "I hate fantasy football" rant?

I suppose I can focus on the positive - even though it feels like I've wasted multiple great weeks this season. Justin Herbert had 36.42 points and was the second highest scorer in fantasy this week. JaMarr Chase (20.9), Jaylen Warren (18), Jahmyr Gibbs (24.7), C.J Mosley (16.5), and TJ Edwards (14.5) all had stellar games. Even further: my team is about to get healthier with Da'Von Achane Khalil Herbert, and Pat Freiermuth all about to come back from IR. My schedule is also very favorable for the next two weeks before I hit a murderer's row at the end of the season. If I can win these next two games and go to 7-5, anything can happen. But I think if I lose even one of them my season is over.

TDs or Bust (6-4) 145.10 vs Tbone's Terrific Team (3-7) 119.36

Not much to write about this game, as it was a tale of two teams moving in opposite directions. TDs or Bust seems to have recovered from their recent slide and are now in a third place tie with The Killing Fields. Tbone's team has now lost their 4th in a row after a 3-3 start.

TDs or Bust managed to win despite another dud performance from Trevor Lawrence, who scored 3.6 fantasy points. Noah Brown led the team in scoring with 20.7 points. TBone's team had giant performances from Amon-Ra St. Brown (26.5) and Brian Robinson (24.7). Unfortunately the rest of the team didn't show up to play - including a goose egg from KJ Osborn and a horrible game from Derrick Henry (2.5).

BDBs Jet Setters (5-5) 147.58 vs Alice in Horns (5-5) 124.63

I think this would qualify as a fairly decent upset. Alice started the year 5-2 but this loss is her third straight, and she now sits at 5-5. BDB's Jet Setters is a team that I keep wanting to discount every single week - but they continue to find ways to win games and hang in the playoff race.

Sam Howell (30.18) and Keenan Allen (35) were the heavy lifters for BDB's team. Alice had steady performances across the board, but were done in by a goose egg from Jalen Pitre, an injury to Diontae Johnson, and poor performances from the tight end spot.

Alice has a good chance to snap her losing streak next week against My Team, while BDB looks to move above .500 against Dynastic Dan in a battle of two teams tied at 5-5.

Show me the TDs (7-3) 135.05 vs My Team (104.37)

Show me the TDs continues to hang onto second place in the league standings, despite being only the 8th highest scoring team in the league. This initially looked like it might be a close fight, as My Team fielded a full lineup for the first time in a while. Show me the TDs was only favored by a mere 9 points.

But it was more of the same for My Team, as they still barely managed to reach 100 points. It just hasn't been a good year for this team, as their projected stars like Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard have failed to produce. Nick Chubb and Aaron Rodgers' injuries right at the start of the year didn't help either.

Show me the TDs didn't have a particularly good week, as their kicker Matt Prater led the way with 18 points. Trey McBride is looking like a good breakout tight end candidate after a 17.10 point game. Sean's IDP even managed to put together a respectable game with 32 points, despite a goose egg from Micah Parsons.

Show me the TDs plays The Killing Fields next week in a game that has massive playoff implications. Circle that one on your calendar, folks.

The Killing Fields (6-4) 157.86 vs Bluth Company (5-5) 154.73

I complain about my luck, but Bluth Company has been hit with some bad, bad luck this season. They are the second highest scoring team in the league, but sit three games out of first place with a mere 5-5 record. They lost this game by 3. The last game by 2. They also have a 5 point loss and a 9 point loss from earlier in the season. They even managed to lose a game where they scored 187 points. This is a team that could easily be sitting at the top of the standings if a few unlucky bounces had gone their way.

You must give credit where it is due, however, as the Killing Fields had a very solid game. They outscored projections by 27 points. Geno Smith had one of his best games of the season with 28.06 points, but it was The Killing Fields IDP who really killed it in this game. Three of his four starters had 20+ points. They combined for 72 points, which is just a massive total coming from the defense. I remember commenting earlier in the year how the IDP were so awesome for this team, but I questioned if they could do it all season long. Well, they have been doing it all season long.

Bluth Company was led by TJ Hockenson (24.9) and Christian McCaffrey (17.2) but their IDP were outscored by 27 points in what turned out to be just a 3 point loss.

Per tradition, I am posting a picture of the standings below. Just click on it if it is showing up too small. The top 4 teams would be locked into the playoffs if they started today. I have a feeling that one or more of these five 5-5 teams right behind them might have something to say about that, though. Things are not looking too good for the bottom three teams in the standings.

The Rad Dynasty: 2023 Season, Week Nine Recap

Week 9 of the Rad Dynasty is now complete - and what a week it was. After the dust settled, ned's rollers and Show me the TDs found themselves sitting atop the standings. Everyone else continues to slug it out, and there are now five teams tied at 5-4 for just two playoff spots. There are a few 4-5 teams that aren't out of it yet as well.

Before we dive any deeper, let's give a shoutout to this week's top scorer: Dak Prescott for Turd Ferguson. Dak had 34.36 fantasy points, as he threw for 374 yards and 3 TDs. The player of the week would have been CJ Stroud and his 51.8 points for Bluth Company - but alas he was left on the bench, so he is ineligible for this award. Drat.

Now it's time for this week's recaps. We'll start with my matchup, as we often do. I think this song epitomizes my season thus far. Enjoy.

Dynastic Dan (5-4) 145.64 vs Turd Ferguson (4-5) 115.56

The first battle of the brothers back in week 2 went down to the wire, but unfortunately for Turd Ferguson this was a more lopsided affair. With the win Dynastic Dan takes a 2-0 lead in the all-time series. But more importantly: I've now won four in a row and move above .500 for the first time this season at 5-4.

Things started off poorly for Turd Ferguson when Quay Walker was ruled out at the last second for the Packers, and he ended up starting an inured player at linebacker - one of the biggest point scoring IDP positions. He ended up with not only one, but two goose eggs at IDP when Sam Hubbard also failed to score. IDP were the story of the game in this one, as Dynastic Dan outscored Turd Ferguson 70 to 11.50.

Dak Prescott, AJ Brown, and Chris Olave had solid games for Turd Ferguson, but Keontae Ingram and his 0.8 points really dragged this team down. Good luck figuring out that Cardinals backfield with James Conner out! Just an all around performance to forget.

Dynastic Dan is lucky his IDP did all the heavy lifting, as the offense did not show up. Jaylen Warren and freaking Jonnu Smith were the only players who scored in double figures on the offensive side of things. Everyone else was MIA.

Next week, Dynastic Dan takes on first place ned's rollers in what should be a great matchup, while Turd Ferguson looks to even their record against 2-7, but suddenly resurgent, Thunder Thighs.

Thunder Thighs (2-7) 177.50 vs TBone's Terrific Team (3-6) 107.48

Thunder Thighs wins their second straight after an 0-7 start. The offensive explosion was led by Amari Cooper, Austin Ekeler, and Taysom Hill - who all scored 20 or more points. Former Badgers Jonathan Taylor (15.4) and Jake Ferguson (18.6) were right up there as well.

TBone's team had an uncharacteristically bad performance from its receiving core, as Tyreek Hill and Tyler Lockett both had bad games. Doesn't help that Amon Ra St. Brown was on a bye week as well. Timmy's team could muster little offense at all as they went down quietly here.

Next week, Tbone plays TDs or Bust in a week 2 rematch, while Thunder Thighs looks to make it three in a row vs Turd Ferguson.

ned's rollers (7-2) 151.18 vs Alice in Horns (5-4) 124.32

These two teams came into week 9 separated in the standings by just one game, but after the win ned's rollers retains sole possession of first place, while Alice drops into a five way tie for the third and fourth playoff spots.

Jalen Hurts and CeeDee Lamb did the heavy lifting for ned's team. Ned has to have one of the best tight end tandems as well, with Dalton Kincaid and Mark Andrews. His IDP came to play as well, scoring a combined 52 points.

Alice had three standout performances - Joe Burrow (26.32), Diontae Johnson (18.5), and Rhamondre Stevenson (20.9). Otherwise, the rest of her team was quiet in the loss. A combined 2.9 points from the tight end duo of Travis Kelce and Mike Gesicki was probably not what Alice was hoping for. Alice will try to get back on track and avoid dropping to .500 next week when she plays BDB's Jet Setters.

TDs or Bust (5-4) 131.32 vs Bluth Company (5-4) 127.52

These two teams came into this matchup on opposite trajectories. After a hot start, TDs or Bust has been struggling, while Bluth Company has been red hot after a slow start. That changed this week, as TDs or Bust was able to eke out a four point win.

This one was back and forth all weekend long. TDs or Bust came into Monday night with a four point lead. Bluth needed Breece Hall to outscore Garrett Wilson by four or more, but in a weird twist - both players scored exactly 9.5 points. This allowed TDs or Bust to hang on for the narrow win.

Dalton Schulz and Josh Allen had big games for Bluth Company, while unlikely names Demario Davis and Taylor Heinicke did the heavy lifting for TDs or Bust.

Both teams are now tied in the standings at 5-4. Bluth faces off against The Killing Fields next week in what should be a really good matchup, while TDs or Bust has a more favorable matchup against TBone's team.

Show me the TDs (6-3) 148.27 vs BDB's Jet Setters (4-5) 125.70

BDB had the chance to move above .500 if they won this game - and for much of the weekend it looked like they were going to. But in the end, it was a couple of IDP from Sunday's late Dallas/Philadelphia game that sealed the win for Show me the TDs. Kevin Byard and Micah Parsons combined for 28.25 points to seal the deal. Those points turned out to be the difference maker in what finished as a 23 point game.

Show me the TDs hangs onto their second place standing with the win, despite being ranked seventh overall in points scored. This is a team that continues to find ways to win. They'll look to keep things going in week 10 against the lowest scoring team in the league, My Team. Speaking of My Team...

The Killing Fields (5-4) 129.5 vs My Team (3-6) 92.5

This game was a lot closer than it should have been, considering My Team left FIVE players on bye in their lineup. If this team fills those spots - and let's say they score 10 points each - they win. Easily. I'm a little bit at a loss as to what to do here. It is clear that this team isn't paying attention, as this has been an ongoing thing for weeks now. Since it is mid-season, I can't really do anything now for the sake of fairness. Do I replace the manager after the year ends? I'd hate to lose my uncle Pete from this league, as he was one of the people I was most looking forward to playing with. Do I keep him and hope for a better commitment next year? Do I bump his first round draft pick to the bottom of the first round due to my "anti tanking" rules? It's not like he is tanking on purpose. He just has other stuff going on in life. But at the same time, would letting him keep what will surely be a high draft pick be fair to the other teams that are trying hard, but legitimately not performing well (such as Thunder Thighs and TBone's team)? Decisions, decisions. I suppose those are questions better answered later.

Anyway, The Killing Fields won despite another subpar performance. This team started out so strong, but has really been floundering lately. This is their second straight game scoring under 130 points. Patrick Mahomes and Cole Kmet were the only two offensive players to show up this week. His IDP again had a strong performance. They are literally carrying the team this season.

My Team actually overperformed this week, despite all the blank holes in their lineup, scoring 19 more points than projected. Starting a QB, WR, TE, DB, and LB surely would have led this team to a win this week. Ja'Whuan Bentley and Joe Mixon were the high scorers with 26 and 15.3 points respectively.

I'll post an updated look at the standings below. There is still a giant clustermug at the top of the standings. Ned's Rollers and Show me the TDs sit at first and second place, but their lead is slim as there are seven teams right behind them at either 5-4 or 4-5. I think ned's team is in good shape, particularly if they beat Dynastic Dan next week. Show me the TDs' lead is much more precipitous.

My Team and Tbone's team are starting to fall out of things. Thunder Thighs is only 2-7, but their team is showing major signs of life. If they run the table they would finish at 8-7. Who knows, with the logjam at the top of the standings, this could be good enough for a playoff berth. Crazier things have happened, right? Personally, I am hoping for a late season surge from my own team as people start to come back from IR. De'Von Achane, Pat Freiermuth, and Khalil Herbert should all be coming back soon. Despite winning four in a row, I don't think my team is ready to contend just yet. Maybe the addition of these three can keep the wins a coming.

The Rad Dynasty: 2023 Season, Week Eight Recap

Week eight is officially in the books, and wouldn't you believe it - we're more than halfway through the regular season. Just seven games left, and the race for those elusive four playoff spots is still very much up in the air.

Speaking of "in the air" - how about Sam Howell's week eight performance? His 397 yards passing and 4 TDs earn him player of the week. He racked up 38.98 fantasy points en route to leading BDB's team to a major upset win.

BDB's Jet Setters (4-4) 148.18 vs The Killing Fields (4-4) 127.44

The Killing Fields is in a bit of a free-for-all following a hot start. They have now lost three in a row. Hard to think this team was in first place just two weeks ago. Now they're 4-4 and in a five way tie for fifth. If the playoffs started today, they'd be on the outside looking in.

In addition to Sam Howell's big numbers, BDB's team was paced by Travis Etienne (24.4 points), Patrick Queen (17), and Saquon Barkley (14.3). The Killing Fields had a day to forget, as Patrick Mahomes was abysmal with 5.64 points. Davante Adams had 1.6 points and Gerald Everett laid a goose egg in the loss. The Killing Fields IDP continued to shine, however, combining for 72 of their 127 points. So just 55 points came from the offense and kicker. Ouch. They'll look to bounce back against the suddenly dormant My Team - who come in having lost 5 of 6 games.

Dynastic Dan (4-4) 165.97 vs Tbone's Terrific Team (3-5) 150.76

Whoomp! There it is. I'm officially back in the race with my 3rd straight win after starting the season 1-4. Not out of things yet! I've climbed into 6th place and am just one game in the loss column out of the playoffs. A big factor in my turnaround have been the play of my big three: Justin Herbert (30.02), Jaylen Waddle (21.6) and  Ja'Marr Chase (20.2). This is what I drafted these guys for: to put up big numbers. They're all young, too. Hopefully they can keep it up for my team for years to come.

Tbone's team suffered a big blow when Kirk Cousins was lost for the season with an injury. He put up 23.86 points in the loss. Tyreek Hill had 22.7, and Derrick Henry had 14.2.

The real story for this game came down to Monday night. I was up by a tiny margin, but Timmy was favored to win because he had Amon-Ra St. Brown going up against Jahmyr Gibbs for my team. I was prepared to take the tough luck L because every time I've gone up against St. Brown in fantasy this year he's had a big game, while Jahmyr Gibbs has only had one fantasy relevant game all season long. BUT - it turned out to be the opposite. Gibbs had a massive game with 27.4 points, while St. Brown was held to 13.8. It ended up being a 15 point win for me, but this game was much, much closer than the final score would indicate. I had two separate "down to the wire: lead change" notifications from Yahoo as the Monday night game was going on. Hats off to Timmy for driving me to the absolute brink this season. Beat me in week one, and lost a nailbiter in week eight. Since our season series it tied 1-1, if we wind up tied in the standings the tiebreaker goes to whoever has the most points.

Turd Ferguson (4-4) 168.96 vs Alice in Horns (5-3) 158.82

I think this qualifies as a fairly large upset. Alice's team has been on a roll this season. They are the third highest scoring team in the league, and have had at least a share of first place almost all season, it seems. Turd Ferguson was 3-4 and coming off a blowout loss to Show me the TDs.

But it was Turd Ferguson who pulled away in this one. AJ Brown continued his stellar play with 29 fantasy points. Dak Prescott (37.56) and Kareem Hunt (13.2) led the offense in scoring, while Crix's IDP combined for a mammoth 53.5 points.

Alice had to endure a poor showing from Puka Nacua who only had 5.8 fantasy points in the loss. Darren Waller left with an injury, scoring only 0.9 points - which definitely hurts. Joe Burrow and Alvin Kamara had big games to keep things competitive, but it just wasn't enough as Alice drops to 5-3.

Alice looks to bounce back in week 9 in what should be a fantastic game against ned's rollers, who are the first team to sit solo in first place all season long. Turd Ferguson plays Dynastic Dan in a brotherly rematch of their week two affair, where Dynastic Dan eked out a five point win. Whoever wins will improve to 5-4 and will be in great shape down the stretch, while the other team will sit at 4-5 and have a lot of work to do. Should be an absolutely pivotal game for both team's playoff chances.

ned's Rollers (6-2) 201.26 vs Show me the TDs (5-3) 162.86

Show me the TDs' luck finally ran out as they had a great scoring game but still lost by 40 points. Hard to win when your opponent scores 200!

ned moves into sole possession of first place with the win and with Alice's loss. ned got 70 points from two players - Jalen Hurts (35.36) and CeeDee Lamb (35). The rest of the roster exploded, too, as Jordan Addison, Chris Godwin, Mark Andrews, Dalton Kincaid, Jake Elliott, Bobby Wagner, Fred Warner, and Montez Sweat all scored in double figures. Sheesh!

Show me the TDs had a pretty good offensive showing, despite the L. Tua Tagavailo, Josh Jacobs, and David Njoku all had big games. Michael Pittman, Mike Evans, and the IDP showed up too. Just wasn't good enough, unfortunately, when your opponent scores 200. They have a great chance to bounce back against BDB's team next week.

Thunder Thighs (1-7) 152.19 vs TDs or Bust (4-4) 132.13

Thunder Thighs is finally off the schneid as they pick up their first win of the season. It comes at the expense of TDs or Bust, who is now just 4-4 after a 3-0 start to the season. The good news for Perry's Team? Because of the logjam at the top of the standings, they are still only a game out of the playoffs.

Only one offensive skill player failed to crack double figures for Thunder Thighs - and that was Nico Collins with 5 points. DeVonta Smith (19.4), Austin Ekeler (19.8), and Taysom Hill (21.96) led the way for Thunder Thighs.

It was a bit of a down game for TDs or Bust. Garrett Wilson (14.1), Rachaad White (14.4), and Sam LaPorta (15.7) had big games, but Trevor Lawrence continues to have an underwhelming fantasy season, scoring 4 points below his projected average.

Thunder Thighs looks to make this a winning streak next week when they take on TBone's Team. TDs or Bust has a tough challenge in front of them as they take on second place Bluth Company.

Bluth Company (5-3) 192.01 vs My Team (3-5) 127.08

It's been a weird season for Bluth Company, as they are the highest scoring team in the league, but they also give up the second most points in the league. After a 1-3 start, they've now won four in a row to put themselves firmly into second place in the league.

Their blowout win against My Team was a much needed breather for them. Eight players scored 14 or more points for them, led by Josh Allen with 33 and Christian McCaffrey with 27. This is a team that does not look like it is slowing down anytime soon.

My Team continues to sputter after a strong start out of the gates. They have now dropped three in a row and sit in 11th place in the standings, only one spot ahead of 1-7 Thunder Thighs. Statistically, this was an okay game for them. They overperformed their scoring projections and have good performances up and down the lineup. The goose egg at the linebacker spot hurts, though. And it is tough to win a game when your opponent scores 192 points.

An updated look at the standings is provided below. Ned stands alone in first place at 6-2, despite giving up the most points in the league - which is quite impressive. Following ned in the standings: a three-way tie for 2nd at 5-3, a five-way tie at 4-4, two teams tied at 3-5, and a 1-7 team. So it is still (almost) anyone's game!

I am still liking Bluth's chances to win this entire thing here in year one, but as we've seen so far this season: literally anything can happen! Next week should provide a little clarity on the big picture, as several of these ties in the standings look to be broken. In such a tight race, every loss moving forward is going to loom large for these teams.

The Rad Dynasty: 2023 Season, Week Seven Recap

Player of the week for Week 7 goes to Patrick Mahomes from The Killing Fields. His 424 yards and 4 passing touchdowns gave The Killing Fields 41.86 points in his matchup this week. Good job!

Buuuuuuuut..........

Ned's Rollers (5-2) 196.66 vs The Killing Fields (4-3) 158.46

Mahomes's effort was not enough as The Killing Fields dropped out of first place with the defeat. These two teams came into the game tied at 4-2, but it was Ned's Rollers who were able to hang on and remain in first.

Mark Andrews, Jordan Addison, and Jalen Hurts all scored 20 plus points for Ned's team. Aside from Patrick Mahomes, Gerald Everett was the only player on offense to score in double figures for The Killing Fields. His IDP once again had a great game (I sound like a broken record when I type this every week) to make the score more respectable, but this was definitely not a banner performance from this team.

Ned has real chance to flex his team's muscles next week when they play Show me the TDs, who are also tied for first place. Can Ned knock off two first place teams in a row? Stay tuned.

Dynastic Dan (3-4) 136.96  vs TDs or Bust (4-3) 111.44

Another first place team goes down, losing in a major upset. That's two wins in a row now for Dynastic Dan! I've climbed out of the cellar and into 7th place, just one game out of 4th place and that elusive final playoff spot. This week definitely was a much sweeter victory for me, taking out a team that had been tied for first, although it was more of a result of Perry's team underachieving than mine doing anything special.

Joshua Palmer and Jahmyr Gibbs (finally!) were the bright spots on offense for Dynastic Dan, in what was a pretty quiet week. It was the kicker and IDP that did the heavy lifting in this one. On the other side of things, Bijan Robinson's "injury" and Darnell Washington's goose egg helped contribute to the bad offensive showing for TDs or Bust. George Pickens and Rachaad White were the only skill players in double figures. A strong showing by Perry's IDP wasn't enough to make the game close.

Dynastic Dan looks to even their record at 4-4 next week in a week one rematch against TBone's Team (which Tbone won). TDs or Bust has a date with 0-7 Thunder Thighs on the horizon. Speaking of Thunder Thighs....

Bluth Company (4-3) 172.80 vs Thunder Thighs (0-7) 166.88

All Sunday long this looked like an upset win for Thunder Thighs. Their team was over performing and they were predicted by Yahoo to win handily. I was starting to feel bad for Bluth's team, because despite being the league's #1 scoring team, they always seem to take everyone's best shot every week. They are far better than their potential 3-4 record would have indicated.

But then a switch flipped and the gap started to close. By the time Monday's action had ended, Bluth had eked out a narrow 6 point win. Christian McCaffrey was the Monday night hero with 21 points. Josh Allen and his IDP also had massive games in the win.

You have to feel bad for Thunder Thighs, as Mike is a very engaged manager (more so than a few people here... *cough cough* - look at the next matchup) and is always trying hard to win. It almost happened here, too. But now he sits as the lone winless team in the league at 0-7. It's a damn shame, to be honest with you. Lamar Jackson and Jonathan Taylor had big games, and the IDP showed out as well. Everyone's IDPs across the board really showed up this week! But it just wasn't enough to secure a win.

BDB's Jet Setters (3-4) 107.76  vs My Team (3-4) 62.86

Even though they aren't last in the standings, this was the true toilet bowl matchup this week. These two teams combined were outscored by 3 different teams in week seven.

Despite a strong 2-0 start, My Team has been plummeting in the standings. Uncle Pete again left bye week/injured players in the lineup. He's been in Belgium on his honeymoon, so I am guessing fantasy football isn't high on his priority list right now, which is understandable. Hopefully he can right the ship before it is too late. I'd hate to see such a promising team take a nosedive like this. Terry McLaurin and George Kittle were his only position players to score in double figures. His IDP (surprise!) had big games, but it wasn't nearly enough to avoid the lowest point total in Rad Dynasty history.

BDB was lucky they were playing such a miserable team, as they would have lost to literally anyone else this week. In a shocking turn of events, his IDP didn't have a big game - as all four of his players combined to score 10 points. Luckily the offense did just enough to carve out a win, with Saquon Barkley, Travis Etienne, and Stefon Diggs leading the way.

Bluth Company and The Killing Fields play these two teams next week. Hopefully they turn things around and aren't just easy wins for everyone else the rest of the way out.

Alice in Horns (5-2) 195.3 vs Tbone's Terrific Team (3-4) 129.72

Alice continues to flex her teams muscles with another convincing, high scoring win. Alice is now in a first place tie with Ned's Rollers and Show me the TDs. Puka Nacua, Travis Kelce, Alvin Kamara, and Darren Waller all had huge games in the win. Spoiler alert: so did Alice's IDP.

The usual suspects for Timmy's team all had good games again: Kirk Cousins, Tyreek Hill, and Amon-Ra St. Brown. He even had a surprise good game from Marquez Valdez-Scantling. But his IDP didn't do too much, and the rest of his offensive players laid an egg, contributing to the low scoring total.

Last matchup:
Show me the TDs (5-2) 144.64 vs Turd Ferguson (3-4) 114.18

Show me the TDs has to have the best luck in the league so far. They are tied for first place despite scoring just 134.27 points per game, which ranks 7th in the league. The key to their success? They've allowed the 3rd fewest points in the league as well. That's fantasy football for you. Share some of that luck with me, will you?

The good news is that this team shows up when it needs to. Not that it really needed to today, as Turd Ferguson laid a... well, a turd in this matchup. AJ Brown and Dallas Goedtert had big games, but the rest of the offense decided they didn't want to show up. His starting running backs, Keaonte Ingram and Jeff Wilson, combined for 0.9 points. Ouch. I feel your pain, I started Ingram in another league and got burned as well. To add insult to injury, Kareem Hunt and Zeke were left on the bench and both had good games. Cooper Kupp and Brock Purdy also decided to not show up as well. This has been an up and down team so far. We'll see how they fair against Alice in Horns next week.

Show me the TDs had a nice game in the win. Michael Pittman, Najee Harris, and Mike Evans had big games, but it was an IDP (lol) who stole the show: Myles Garrett with 28 points. This is a team that continues to find ways to win. Next week should be a great game, as they are matched up with Ned's Rollers. Two teams tied for first.

As always, an updated look at the standings:

Alice has taken control of first place, with Ned's Rollers and Show me the TDs right behind. Bluth Company would now be in the playoffs if they started today. Still a lot of season left though! Teams 5 through 11 are all within one game of that #4 seed. The only team truly out of it is Thunder Thighs, barring a miraculous turnaround. Crazy that 11 out of 12 teams are still very much in contention.

On a personal note, my schedule starts to ease up a little bit after a very challenging start. 4 of my next 5 games are what I would consider "winnable". If I can somehow scrape this ragtag team together for a miracle run, that would be awesome. I wouldn't count on it, though.

The Rad Dynasty: 2023 Season, Week Six Recap

Before we get to our week 6 recap, let's highlight the player of the week: Raheem Mostert for TDs or Bust. Mostert rushed for 115 yards and scored 3 total touchdowns en route to a 32.70 point fantasy performance for his team. Good job!

You won't hear any whining or complaining from yours truly this week, as my team finally broke through for their second win of the season. Woo hoo. I must be one of those people that hates losing more than he likes winning, though, because my win didn't generate nearly as much emotion as my losses normally do. I wanted to be more excited writing this up, but I am struggling to find that energy. I'm struggling so much I'm even going to mix things up and focus on my matchup last! It's not like a battle of cellar dwellers is very important anyway, considering the previous top 3 teams in the league all lost this week. It was a week of parity, beginning with the #1 team going down...

Turd Ferguson (3-3) 152.28 vs The Killing Fields (4-2) 139.99

This was the biggest win of the season for my brother as he was able to upend the #1 team in the standings and even his record at 3-3. After a slow start he is very much in the hunt this season, pulling within one game of a first place tie. The top five teams this season are all tied at 4-2.

Dak Prescott, AJ Brown, and Cooper Kupp did the heavy lifting for Turd Ferguson. It was a quiet game for The Killing Fields. His IDP once again had big games, but the offense was silent. Patrick Mahomes, D'Andre Swift, and Curtis Samuel were the only offensive players that showed up. Both kickers had big games against one another.

Things don't get any easier for The Killing Fields as they play fellow first place team Ned's Rollers next week. Turd Ferguson faces off against another first place tied team, Show me the TDs, who struggled this week.

TBone's Terrific Team (3-3) 154.44 vs Show me the TDs (4-2) 103.98

It was a brutal week for Show me the TDs, as they put together the second lowest scoring game of the week. Tua, DJ Moore, and Michael Pittman had nice games, but the rest of the team laid an egg. His IDP and kicker in total scored 21 points. Ouch. Hard to win with that production from the bottom of the lineup.

TBone's team continues to impress and prove they are a team that you absolutely cannot count out. Despite a goose egg from Marquez Valdez-Scantling, the team put together the second highest scoring performance of the week. Tyreek Hill and Amon-Ra St Brown put together massive 25 point games. His kicker Justin Tucker had more points than anyone on the other team aside from Tua. Overall a great all-around performance from Timmy's team. They now stand just a game out of first place.

TDs or Bust (4-2) 141.44 vs Alice in Horns (4-2) 136.20

Our third 4-1 team in a row loses, as Alice was edged out by Perry's team by a mere 5 points.

TDs or Bust had a solid overall performance by his team, but was led by player of the week Raheem Mostert and his 33 points. The future looks bright for TDs or Bust, as three of his younger players (Bijan, Zay Flowers, and Garrett Wilson) all had good games. In total, seven players scored in double figures in the victory.

For Alice's team, Puka Nakua finally had a stinker with 4.6 points. David Montgomery left his matchup against the Buccaneers with a measly 3.8 points, otherwise this could have been a completely different outcome. Six players in total scored in double figures for team Alice, led by Kyren Williams and his 22 points. He left the game with an injury, though, which must be concerning for team Alice. Two running backs going down in one week is never a good thing. With all the injuries and a bye week coming up, Alice will have her hands full with Tbone's team next week.

Bluth Company (3-3) 177.96 vs BDBs Jet Setters (2-4) 98.82

This was the blowout of the week as Bluth Company won by 79 points. It was a cursed day for BDB, with Justin Fields going down with an injury with a measly 4.92 fantasy points. Stefon Diggs and Travis Etienne had big games for BDB, but it just wasn't enough. Someone wake up BDB, because he left Keenan Allen and Saquon Barkley on the bench, and they both had nice games. Not that it would have been enough when your opponent scores 177 points.

Bluth's team had yet another massive outburst, with the highest scoring game in the league this week. He has had the single highest scoring performance in the league three times already this year, with only 6 games in the books. It is no wonder he is the league's top scoring team, averaging 162.16 points a week. It's a surprise he is only 3-3. Good things are on the horizon, however, as he plays 0-6 Thunder Thighs next week. In this matchup, 9 of his 13 starters scored in double figures for the win. Just a really balanced effort all around. If I had to predict an eventual winner of this league right now, it would be Bluth Company.

Ned's Rollers (4-2) 128.20 vs My Team (3-3) 116.92

This battle of 3-2 teams had a chance to be an epic one. Unfortunately it turned into a low scoring snoozer.

Someone alert Uncle Peter that he needs to fix his roster, as he left 2 inured players in his starting lineup, but still managed to only lose by 12. If he'd plugged those spots, he'd probably be 4-2 and part of that massive 5 way tie for first place. Didn't happen though.

Ned's team didn't fare much better. Jalen Hurts, Ceedee Lamb, and Kenneth Walker had big games, but Daniel Bellinger had a goose egg, and his IDP and kicker didn't do much. Still, it was enough to move Ned into a tie for first place at 4-2.

Dynastic Dan (2-4) 150.78 vs Thunder Thighs 120.98 (0-6)

In a battle between two teams that came into the game a combined 1-9, Dynastic Dan pulled away for a 30 point win. Finally, someone didn't have an enormous scoring game against my team!

Due to bye weeks and injuries, Dynastic Dan was forced to start a pair of backups, Kendre Miller and Cam Akers, at running back. They scored even worse than projected, combining for 3.7 points. Luckily the rest of the team picked up the slack. Justin Herbert, Jaylen Waddle, and Jamarr Chase had big games. The two tight end tandem of Kyle Pitts and Jonnu Smith paid off as well, as they each had touchdowns. IDP Jordan Hicks came through with a big 25 point game, scoring a TD in the process against da Bears.

It was another quiet week for Thunder Thighs, as they have been one of the worst luck teams so far. They are the lowest scoring team in the league by a wide margin, and this week's performance did nothing to boost those numbers. Jonathan Taylor, Austin Ekeler, and Devonta Smith continued their year long vanishing act. Nico Collins and Lamar Jackson were the two offensive bright spots for the team.

Updated standings! I'm loving the parity in this league so far and I hope it keeps up all season long. 5 teams are tied for first place, and 4 teams are tied for second, leaving three stragglers at the bottom of the standings. And two of those stragglers are only 2 games out of first. The only team really out of it at this point is Thunder Thighs, but who knows - a winning streak might be right around the corner.

The Rad Dynasty: 2023 Season, Week Five Recap

I hate fantasy football. I'm getting this out of the way before I move onto anything else. Before I get to the player of the week. Before I get to the results of this week's games. Before I get to the updated standings. Before everything. I hate fantasy football. You hear me? I hate it.

Okay, maybe I am just being a bit too overdramatic. Suffice it to say, my luck has been quite terrible so far this season. Not only in the Rad Dynasty, but it has bled over into my other leagues as well. Everything that can go wrong always seems to go wrong. Week after week after week... SIGH. I'm sure we've all been there. More on my unfortunate luck in this league to come.

Now that I've got that off my chest, time to move onto the player of the week. In case you couldn't tell from the photo up above, it is DJ Moore for Show Me the TDs. Moore had 8 receptions for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns, resulting in an even 45 fantasy points for Sean's team. Good job!

Okay, back to me bitching again.

Bluth Company (2-3) 195.14 vs Dynastic Dan (1-4) 184.32

Well, it finally happened. My team finally overperformed and put together one heck of a performance. Jamarr Chase was the second highest scoring player in fantasy this week, scoring 44.7 fantasy points. Devon Achane continued his strong play with an even 21 fantasy points. Jaylen Waddle and Kyle Pitts (!!!) scored in double figures. Even the IDP had a big showing as well. 184 points, that surely would be enough to win the matchup this week, right? Right? WRONG.

Here comes Bluth Company at 1-3 after being projected by Yahoo to go undefeated this season. They've been an up and down team, narrowly losing by 5 points last week. They came into this game as 11 point favorites against Dynastic Dan, and they showed us why. Everyone in their starting lineup scored in double figures with the exception of 3 players. Breece Hall, Josh Allen, and Gabe Davis all had big games in the win. Gabe Davis continues to haunt me. I had him on like all my fantasy teams last year and he was a big dud. This year I have him rostered nowhere and it seems like every week I go up against someone with him in their lineup and he has a big game.

Even though Bluth Company scored 195 points, the crazy thing about this game is that Dynastic Dan still had a very real chance to win - and maybe would have won if a whopping FOUR players didn't leave in the middle of the game with an injury. Anthony Richardson left in the second quarter with 4 fantasy points and did not return. If he stays in the game and scores his usual 18 to 20 something points: I win. SIGH. Khalil Herbert left with an injury in Chicago's big win against Washington. Chicago was up big and was going to be running the ball a lot. Herbert would have racked up the touches in that second half. SIGH. Although Devon Achane had a big game, it could have been bigger. He left in the second half of his game with an injury, and now I hear he is heading to the IR. SIGH. Even Darnell Savage, one of my IDPs, left his game early with an injury. It all added up to a 10 point loss for me.

Even when things go right for my team, they somehow manage to go wrong. I have an offensive explosion, but it still isn't enough because I got matched up against the freaking highest scoring team of the entire week. Not only the highest scoring team of the week, the second highest scoring game in the entire history of this league! And I still could have won that game if I didn't lose 4 freaking key players to injury. GOD. I hate fantasy football. Hate it. Hate hate hate hate hate hate it.

So who do I play next week?

My Team (3-2) 149.94 vs Turd Ferguson (2-3) 147.68

This was a super tight game, coming down to a measly 2 fantasy points. But in the second straight battle of brother vs uncle, uncle came out on top once again. Uncle Peter holds the tiebreaker, if needed, against Chris this season. Could be big down the road!

Jared Goff, Geroge Kittle, and Calvin Ridley were the high scorers for My Team. Turd Ferguson was led by Brock Purdy, AJ Brown, and Dallas Goedert. Cooper Kupp's return from the IR was successful as he scored 16 points for Turd Ferguson as well. It wasn't enough, however, as they ended up losing by 2.

Things don't get any easier for Turd Ferguson next week as the take on first place The Killing Fields. My Team will square off against ned's rollers, who lost today. Let's talk about that one now, shall we?

BDB's Jet Setters (2-3) 158.43 vs ned's rollers (3-2) 147.92

Ned's rollers dropped out of their first place tie with a loss to BDB's Jet Setters. In a bizarre scheduling quirk, these teams played each other after facing off in week 1. Ned's team won that matchup, so the season series between these two teams is tied, and will come down to points if or when the need for a tiebreaker arises in the future.

BDB's team was led by Justin Fields (41 points), Stefon Diggs (22), and Travis Etienne (34). The rest of the team didn't do much, however, opening the door for ned's rollers to make this a competitive game. Jalen Hurts and Fred Warner topped the 20 point mark for ned's team. Isaiah Pacheco, Jordan Addison, and Jake Elliott scored in double figures, but it just wasn't enough for team ned.

Next week ned squares off against my Uncle Pete in a battle of two 3-2 teams, while BDB will have their hands full with the red hot Bluth Company.

Alice in Horns (190.18) 4-1 vs Thunder Thighs (0-5) 99.69

Now that we've talked about some games that were close, now it is time to talk about a game that was not close. In fact, this may be the biggest blowout in league history.

It just hasn't been going well for poor Thunder Thighs. I thought I had it rough. Injuries to Austin Ekeler and Jonathan Taylor have crippled this team. The supporting cast hasn't done it much favors with some uninspiring performances. If things continue along this path, Thunder Thighs could be the winner for the #1 pick in the draft sweepstakes. The three big players I keep hearing about for next year are Caleb Williams, the USC quarterback, Marvin Harrison Jr, the Ohio State receiver, and Brock Bowers, the Georgia tight end. Could Mike be in line to have the pick of the litter in next year's draft? His team plays my team next week in a battle of cellar dwellers, so the outcome of that game will go a long way in the race to the #1 pick.

Anyway, back to this game. Thunder Thighs had the lowest scoring game in the history of the league so far, not even managing to hit 100 points. Lamar Jackson and Justice Hill were the only offensive players to crack double figures. The kicker and the defense made some noise, otherwise this really would have been a low scoring game. Romeo Doubs and Devonte Smith did Thunder Thighs no favors, as they combined for a whole 2 points even.

Alice in Horns had another dominant showing, as usual. This is definitely a team to be reckoned with this season. Who would have thought David Montgomery would be such a key contributor for the Lions this year? Joe Burrow finally returned to form with a 30 point game. The whole lineup up and down did great, scoring between 10 and 20 points from each player. Kyren Williams was the only position player in single digits scoring. The IDP put up numbers, too. That's how you get to 190 points: solid contributions from pretty much every spot on the roster.

The Killing Fields (4-1) 142.94 vs Tbone's Terrific Team (2-3) 117.11

The Killing Fields maintained their hold on the #1 seed, despite a subpar performance from many of their starters. Davante Adams, Brandon Aiyuk, Irv Smith, and James Conner combined for 19 fantasy points. Ouch. Stop me if I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but The Killing Fields IDP once again had a giant game in the win. It seems like every time the offense isn't clicking, the defense picks it up for this team. Some bad news: James Conner is heading to the IR with an injury. With bye weeks coming up the depth of this team will be put to a major test.

Tbone got some good production from Kirk Cousins and Tyreek Hill at the top of his lineup, but the rest of his team was eerily silent in the loss. Bad break for this team, as Amon-Ra St Brown was ruled out and left in the lineup with 0 points. Hard to win when one of your biggest stars lays a goose egg in your lineup!

Show Me the TDs (4-1) 147.77 vs TDs or Bust (3-2) 141.50

Last matchup of the week was a close one, as Show Me the TDs eeked out a 6 point win. Show me the TDs now sits at third place in the league, despite scoring 20 fewer overall fantasy points than my team, who sits in 11th place at 1-4. In our only head to head matchup in week 3, he scored a season high in points during his win against me. Did I mention yet how I hate fantasy football?

DJ Moore and his 45 points did a giant chunk of the damage for Show me the TDs. Tua, Josh Jacobs, and Logan Thomas also scored in double figure in the win.

TDs or Bust dropped to 3-2 after a 3-0 start. It was a tough luck loss for Perry's team, as Hunter Henry put up a goose egg and no one on the team reached the 20 point scoring plateau. Their matchup with Alice's team next week should be a good one. Hopefully Trevor Lawrence wakes up and realizes football season has started at some point in the next few weeks.

Here is an updated look at the standings after week 5:

I hate seeing my team so low at the bottom after putting together what I thought would be a competitive team. It's like this in another dynasty league I am part of, and it is driving me bonkers. Everyone overperforms against me, always. And then the next week they score 100 points. Enough with the complaining - I'm sure you've read enough of it already!

If the playoffs would start today, the matchups would be
1) The Killing Fields vs 4) ned's rollers
2) Alice in Horns vs 3) Show me the TDs

While all the bottom feeders battle it out for draft position. Just a reminder: NO TANKING! It's ok to lose if your team sucks, but if you purposely leave roster spots blank in order to lose, there will be consequences. Hasn't happened yet. Hopefully it doesn't come to that anytime soon.

The Rad Dynasty: 2023 Season, Week Four Recap

Week Four of the Rad Dynasty is in our rear view mirror, and it is time to look back and talk about our winners and losers this week. Last week I said that this week would be pivotal in separating the pretenders and contenders, and I think I was right. More on that to come.

But first, player of the week goes to Christian McCaffrey on team Bluth Company. CMC rushed for 106 yards and scored 4 overall touchdowns for 45.2 fantasy points. Good job.

I usually start by talking about my own team first, but this week was such a downer that I'm going to save that for last. I suppose since we're talking about Christian McCaffrey we'll start with...

Ned's Rollers 193.66 (3-1) vs Bluth Company (1-3) 187.9

This was one of those frustrating games for Team Bluth as they were the second highest scoring team in the league this week, but still lost because they happened to be facing the highest scoring team of the week. Don't you just hate when that happens? I'm in a separate league where I'm 2-2, but this has happened to me twice. It's so infuriating. Bluth had the top two scorers in fantasy football this week with the aforementioned CMC and quarterback Josh Allen and his 44.5 points. The rest of the team did well, and would normally have done enough to win, but not when the opposing team goes bananas like Ned's Rollers did. Don't worry Bluth. You play me next week and I've yet to have an "explosion" week yet this season, so even just a mediocre performance will likely get you a win against me.

On Ned's roster, a whopping 4 players scored in single digits. He had multiple 20 point players this week, led by Jalen Hurts, Isaiah Pacheco, Mark Andrews, and Bobby Wagner. Almost everyone else on his roster scored 10 points. Tough to lose when you put together a performance like that!

Tbone's Terrific Team (2-2) 107.64 vs My Team (2-2) 102.35

My Team hasn't been the same since they lost Nick Chubb. After a 2-0 start, they're back down to .500 at 2-2. It was one of those weeks where absolutely nothing went right for this team. Terry McLaurin had 18.6 points, but the rest of the team didn't bother to show up, including Juwan Johnson who left the game with an injury and a goose egg on the scoreboard. Just a bad week overall for Uncle Pete, who will face off against Turd Ferguson next week due to an odd scheduling quirk. Our first rematch of the season.

Tbone currently has the second lowest scoring team in the league, but still manages to keep winning due to allowing the fewest points in the league. Derrick Henry and Amon-Ra St. Brown carried the load in this game, while the rest of the team put together a quiet performance. Tbone is in for a stiff test next week going against the high scoring Killing Fields. Speaking of...

The Killing Fields 162.12 (3-1) vs TDs or Bust (3-1) 115.98

This matchup between two 3-0 teams wasn't as exciting as you would have hoped, with TDs or Bust putting together a dud performance. The Killing Fields easily walked away with this one.

The Killing Fields yet again had a great day from their defensive players, despite Derwin James missing the game and putting up a goose egg. When I started this league, IDP was a bit of an afterthought for me, but Killing Fields has managed to make them a giant, valuable part of his team. Each week they put up big points. Brandon Aiyuk, D'Andre Swift, and a shocking performance by Cole Kmet who had 24.10 points carried the offense.

Not much to get excited about for TDs or Bust. Trevor Lawrence has been a bit of a bust this season with no big fantasy games yet. Same with Tee Higgins. What on Earth is going on with that Cincinnati offense? Raheem Mostert had a slow game too with only 4 points. He had been the RB #1 in fantasy coming into this game. I'm guessing not anymore. TDs or Bust will look to bounce back in a battle of the TDs next week as they play Show me the TDs in a battle of 3-1 teams.

Show me the TDs (3-1) 124.88 vs Thunder Thighs (0-4) 112.64

Thunder Thighs still hasn't gotten a win this season and they sit at the bottom of the rankings. Not only are they 0-4, they have the lowest scoring team in the entire league. Lamar Jackson had 30 plus points for Thunder Thighs, but aside from a handful of players the rest of the team did not show up.

Show me the TDs was lucky to draw Thunder Thighs in this matchup, as they could have only beaten a couple of other opponents. Deebo Samuel only had .6 points but Justin Jefferson and Josh Jacobs did just enough with their 20 some points each to help lead the team to a win.

Turd Ferguson (2-2) 142.74 vs BDBs Jet Setters (1-3) 138.80

This was a super close matchup between two 1-2 teams going separate directions. AJ Brown and Quay Walker had mammoth games for team Crix. Justin Fields and Stefon Diggs had giant 30-point games for BDB but the rest of the team was relatively quiet in the loss.

Can you tell I'm running out of energy for these recaps? Good thing we're almost done. We'll end with the matchup I don't want to talk about: Dynastic Dan losing yet again in an uninspiring performance.

Alice In Horns (3-1) 153.0 vs Dynastic Dan (1-3) 137.28

Alice In Horns wins their third straight game with this solid performance. Her Rams players Kyren Williams and Puka Nacua continue to have giant games for this team as they combined for 53 points. I listen to dynasty podcasts and always get dynasty Yahoo and Reddit notifications - and I can tell you that literally no one thought these players would do anything this year, yet here they are. Two of the biggest names in fantasy right now. Alice needed this performance from them as Joe Burrow continued to disappoint. Just 4.7 fantasy points this week. Ouch! He's been bad all season and yet somehow Alice still sits at 3-1.

Dynastic Dan could not capitalize on this performance, even though Justin Herbert had a big game with 25 fantasy points. He has been the MVP of this team so far, easily. But now he he is hurt. Go figure. De'Von Achane was the other bright spot in the loss, racking up 25.5 fantasy points and hopefully showing that he'll be a force in the NFL for years to come. I need this man desperately because the rest of my team is doing squat. I had such high hopes for my receiving core this year with Jamarr Chase and Jaylen Waddle - two top ten receivers from last year. But they've been awful this year. And why the hell did the Falcons draft Kyle Pitts if they aren't going to use him? And the Lions with Jahmyr Gibbs, too. What the heck, yo? Go figure, I move Khalil Herbert to the bench and he finally breaks out with a 20 point game. SIGH. It's just been one of those years for me. I have to remember this is dynasty. All these players could take off next year and I could have a loaded team for years and years to come. But it is looking like this year ain't it.

Here are some updated standings below, Still no two-way ties, so tiebreakers aren't a thing... yet!
